DESCRIPTION - Fritz 3022L is a liquid cement anti-foaming agent that may be added to the slurry mixing water to decrease foaming and minimize air entrainment in cement slurries. 3022L is especially effective with liquid latex cement slurries.

ADVANTAGES
• Reduces foaming in mixing water and entrainment of air in cement slurries while mixing and allows more accurate measurement of slurry density at surface conditions before pumping down hole.
• It is effective in cement slurries containing surfactants and may also be used in water-based spacer systems.
• May be used in wells with bottom hole circulating temperatures up to 500°F. (260 C)

APPLICATION
• Fritz 3022L may be used as a defoamer in any API class of cement (A, C, G, or H).
• It may be used with other cement additives such as dispersants, silica flour, fluid loss additives and weighting materials.
• Adding salt or cement retarders to the slurry may cause increased foaming.
