DESCRIPTION - Fritz 7500L is an economical liquid cement slurry defoamer, recommended to decrease foaming and minimize air entrainment in a cement system while mixing.
ADVANTAGES
• By reducing the entrainment of air in cement slurries while mixing, a more accurate measurement of slurry density at surface conditions may be obtained.
• May be used in wells with bottom hole circulating temperatures up to 400°F. (204 C)
APPLICATION
• Fritz 7500L may be used as a defoamer in any API class of cement (A, C, G, or H).
• It may be used with other cement additives such as dispersants, silica flour, retarders, fluid loss additives and weighting materials.
• When used in salt, latex or surfactant systems, 7500L can cause increased foaming in cement slurries.
