| DESCRIPTION - Mineral Oil Concentrate system is used to make liquid GUAR and HEC products at the customers location prior to the job.
ADVANTAGES
• Mineral Oil Concentrate allows the customer to make a suspension using his own GUAR or HEC. This can provide a savings on freight.
• Liquid GUAR and HEC eliminate the need for prehydration of powdered GUAR or HEC.
• Liquid GUAR and HEC can be metered as a liquid additive thus providing a continuous mixing process.
• The customer can be charged for the amount used on the job. Remaining product can be used at a later time.
• Suspension systems allow rapid hydration of the GUAR or HEC without fish-eyes.
APPLICATION
• Mineral Oil Concentrate is prepared with a carrier fluid that environmentally degrades and passes the sheen test for offshore use.
• Mineral Oil Concentrate is diluted 1 to 1 by weight with a low viscosity mineral oil furnished by the customer. GUAR or HEC are then added to make a suspension.
• Based on customer requirements the GUAR or HEC can be prepared in 3 to 4 lb./gal. concentrations.

• Specific Gravity – 0.85
• Preparation – A formulation will be required to prepare suspensions.
• Viscosity – Meets customer requirements for liquid additive pumps
• Flash Point – 160?F (71 C) (Combustible Liquid)
