DESCRIPTION - OB-2 is a conventional oxidizing breaker. The oxidizing agent in OB-2 is sodium persulfate. OB-2 is effective in applications from 130 to 200°F, and break times can be tailored by varying the concentration added. Below 130°F, an activator needs to be added to the fluid in order to break the fluid. OB-2 can be packaged and labeled to your requirements, including water-soluble bags.

APPLICATION
• OB-2 is used to break guar or derivatized guar based fluids. The applicable temperature range for OB-2 is 130 – 200°F.
• Below 130°F, a breaker activator can be added to the fracturing fluid to extended the usefulness of OB-2 below 130°F.
